Fibromyalgia. Fighting The Battles & Winning The War!

Every day is a battle but who is winning the war?

Since I began Fibro Fantastic, I have often been asked how do I manage to focus on the positives whilst battling Fibromyalgia? The answer to that is what are the alternatives? I guess I have two choices but only one is worth pursuing.

The truth is that there is certainly nothing positive about having a chronic condition. But given that there is currently no cure for Fibromyalgia, then I feel that I must change and adapt. So read on to see how I do just that….

How The Power of Positive Thought Bought Me Back to My Yoga Mat

Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway

We have all heard that phrase and others such as “The Power of Positive Thought” but we also know that at times with our Fibromyalgia, we opt to play it safe for fear of inducing a flare.  Often I see fellow sufferers missing out on family events, confined to bed instead of making memories. It seriously breaks my heart as I strongly believe we have one life, it makes me mad that Fibromyalgia robs us of so much.

For those of you who follow this blog or are members of my Facebook groups will know that I suffered a car accident 12 months ago.  The injuries meant that I had to stop a lot of activities which I used as my coping techniques for my Fibromyalgia. Yoga had been my salvation and to not be able to do my daily practice was soul destroying – literally!!
