One of my biggest coping strategies for my Fibromyalgia is diet. It took me many years to discover what worked and what didn’t. So, to help get you on track, each Monday I will be sharing my favourite recipes.
I spent many years battling with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and eating foods which often caused a flare. It was crucial that I found what my body could tolerate but more importantly, what it could not.
With a lot of trial and error, I realised that processed food was out and fresh, healthy ingredients was the way to go. As with most things, I did my research as to who was going to steer me in the right direction. I cannot remember how I discovered this guy, but I am so glad that I did.
Introducing Dale Pinnock – The Medicinal Chef
Dale Pinnock is a leading nutritionist and general food lover who is a passionate advocate of discovering the beneficial effects that our food has on our general health. With his degrees in Human Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, Dale combines the scientific knowledge with his culinary expertise to demonstrate how food can be the most enjoyable medicine.

He details 30 ailments and medical conditions along with the foods that have been identified as having a significant role in helping to manage the condition. Each condition is indexed to the most effective recipes and which ingredients to look out for.
