This was the first of Chaz’s yoga sessions that I did, so it makes sense that this be the first class I share with you. It’s only 20 minutes long, so not too much time out of your day. If you can only do 5 or 10 minutes, I promise you will reap the benefits but always remember to take some time for relaxation at the end.

Thank you. I really enjoyed this, but as my FM is quite advanced… I am unable to do most of the poses… could you offer a version of this sitting in a chair? I really would appreciate it and I know many others would benefit too.

Hi Debbie, many thanks for your comment and I am glad that you enjoyed the post. I am planning on doing a post on seated yoga and adaptations for the poses, so watch this space. May be in the mean time you could try some of the stretches on this page. http://www.fibrofantastic.com/yoga-and-exercise-2/5-minute-energising-stretch/ they can all be done seated with the exception of the last one which you can do with the aid of a chair. Position no.9 may be a little more tricky if you are unable to stand and balance. I will get onto the seated Yoga soon…I promise 🙂
